Our sincere condolences to Wally’s family, relatives and close friends. We will miss seeing him taking advantage of good-weather days when he (and sometimes his wife also) would enjoy the sunshine while sitting outside on the veranda or the driveway, and saying kinds words to Maria whenever she happened to stroll past on the roadway with her walker. May Wally rest in peace.

Dear Wendy, Yamil, Austin, Kyle & Nathaniel,
It is with great sadness to hear about your father & grandfather’s death. He was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met always cheerful and would lite up any room, I was blessed to know him. Your dad led a remarkable life enjoying each day to the full and l have never heard anyone say a bad word about him and he lived his life by example, he was kind and loving and truly cared about people. Your dad was so proud of his family and would often tell me how Yamil was the best son in law a man could have and l have to agree with Wally he loved you Yamil and your boys were his badge of honor, he would say “they are good boy’s” and his eyes would beam with pride. Wendy your zeal for life brought your dad much joy and he was very proud of your many accomplishments and said “she makes me look good, that’s my girl.” I could go on forever recounting all the wonderful memories l have of your dad but you know your dad the best and how much he loved you and wants you to be happy and so in honor of your dear dad we will rejoice in the memories of him and will wait with keen anticipation for the time we will be reunited with him again on a paradise earth, until then.
Please accept my heartfelt condolence and may you find comfort in knowing you are loved.
your friend

Carol and Family,
Our sincere sympathy in the passing of your husband/father/grandfather.
Wally always had something kind or funny to say to me whenever I saw him over the years. He told me he’d always remember my name as it was the same as one of his daughters. More recently this summer, we would have chats while he sat on the front porch with his coffee and iPad. He will be missed in the neighborhood!
Our deepest sympathy,
Wendy & John

I knew Wally as an extremely friendly, funny and engaging dental patient. Wally never failed to make all the staff smile from the minute he came in to greet the receptionist,to chatting and joking throughout his appointment(no easy feat with a mouthful of instruments or while frozen!), to saying a friendly goodbye on his exit.
Carol, Lynn, Wendy and all the family, I certainly extend my heartfelt condolences and I know I speak on behalf of all the dental staff who knew him. Wally was unique and will be missed.

Walter Siry was a sweet and incredible man. I only met him once but his personality has stuck with me.
Such a beautiful soul and so full of life and …sarcasm.
I am so sorry to his family especially to my wonderful friend Wendy – his daughter who fought just as hard as he did. His corny jokes and amazing smile will never be forgotten.
I hope wherever he is, he is at peace and enjoying a nice cold beer.
We will have a drink in memory of you at your fav place – The Caledon Inn
Farewell Grumpy ❤️
