Alistair, Kerry, Patrick, Ben and families,
I just heard this news by chance and am so saddened. I first met Nadine about 25 years ago in “moms and tots” when Ben and Corey were “tots”. I shared many enjoyable conversations with her over the years and always loved her bright smile, open and warm personality and loved her sense of humour. Sadly our paths did not cross much in recent years but am grateful to have bumped into her a few months ago.She was a bright star and will be missed. My condolences to all of you and I am so sorry for your great loss.
Flora

Dear Alistair and family, I am so very saddened to hear this terrible news about Nadine. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. My parents, Bob and Peggy Thomson found such a great friend in Nadine, and the four of you spent many happy hours together over the years. Alistair, I know that you will be suffering a lot of pain at this time, losing your beloved wife and your best friend. It may help you to remember that Bob went through a similar pain when he lost Peggy, who was also his best friend. It took some time, but Bob did move on, always keeping Peggy close to his heart. Bob thought about you and Nadine as part of the family. I know that he would want you to carry on putting one foot after the other as you heal from this devastating loss. Please know that the Thomson girls, Robin, Janet and Joan and our families are thinking of you and your children and grand-children at this sad, sad time. Nadine was truly a special person. We all remember her fondly. Love, the Thomsons

To the family of Mrs. Nadine Robertson, I express my sincere condolences and deep sympathies. Although death is a very horrible ‘enemy’ to us all, the God of the Bible has the power and desire to undue everything associated with it. So, “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, comfort your hearts and make you firm.” Please draw added comfort and hope from God’s future promises: Jesus said to her [Martha]: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” (John 11:25); “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8); “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” -1Corinthians 15:26

Sorry to learn of Nadine’s passing, we got to know her as a customer in the Tottenham IGA and Beeton. She was so lively and fun that she became a friend to many on the staff and we are all the better for that. Last time I saw her she still had that big grin on her face that made you happy we took the time to speak with her. Blessings to the family.
