I have very fond memories of Marilyn growing up. She was like a second mother to me. I always looked forward to the summers when she and Kent would visit my family at the cottage. We had so much fun through those years. I hope she is in a better place with my dad.
Traci and Curt Goure says
Curt and I offer our most sincere condolences to Kent and the Wilson family. Marilyn will be so greatly missed. I have such wonderful memories of our 5 mile walks in Fountain Hills and all of her great stories she would tell me as we walked. Even though Marilyn was 14 years older than I was, she was in much better shape from being a lifelong runner and swimmer. I would be huffing and puffing and she wouldn’t break a sweat. Marilyn was such a lovely and gracious host when when we would come over for dinner or cocktails. She was a witty conversationalist and the four of us had many great times in Arizona and when we visited Toronto a few years ago. Although I am very saddened by her passing I know that she is in a better place where she can be free to run and swim once again in heaven. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.
