Blakely: Margaret.
Peacefully, with her family at her side, at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, on Saturday November 3rd, 2018. Margaret (Thompson) in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late Elgin Blakely and cherished companion of Bill Kell. Loving mother of Sherry (Bruce) Clark, Ian (Donna), and Allan (Sue). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Blair (Michelle), Sonya (Judd), Shannon (Barry), Garrett (Jessica), Jason (Kristen), Scott (Alexis), and her great-grandchildren Rowan, Reeve, Aislynn, Silas, and Leah. Fondly remembered by the Kell family, all her extended family and many friends.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Friday November 9th, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel 11:00 am Saturday November 10th, 2018. Interment to follow in Alliston Union Cemetery. With fondest memories of Margaret. The Blakely farm was always a home away from home for John when he first came to Canada. Many of his days off from work were spent with Elgin and Margaret helping with whatever they were doing on the farm and loving it. I have many memories of working with your Mom at the Eaton`s Order office in Alliston in the 60`s.
We had an elderly gentleman who would come in and he would get Margaret and I mixed up.
Margaret would laugh when he would ask me how Elgin was and if the asparagus was a good yield.
