It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Waterloo. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Patrick (1998). Loving mother of Joanne Allen of Niagara Falls, Karen Gfeller (Ken) of Ottawa, William Peter Trainor (Sara) of St Clements and the late Helen Mary (1972). Cherished grandmother of Justin Peter Trainor (Natasha), Kent Evans Trainor (Allison), Mae Helene Trainor (Michael Brooks), Michael Allen (the late Karla), Christopher Allen (Tanya), Robbie Allen, Nancy Allen, Scott Gfeller (Sarah) and Timothy Gfeller; and great grandmother of William Peter Trainor, Madeline Trainor, Sadie Trainor, Avery Trainor, Alexandra Brooks, Zachary James Brooks, Sofia Allen, Jorja Allen, MacKenzie Allen, Emma Allen, Alexis Allen, Jaydan Allen, Samantha Allen and Cole Frederick Gfeller. Dear sister of Pauline Campbell (the late Bob) of Schomberg, William Francis Hanlon (Kathleen) of Schomberg, the late Gerrard William Hanlon (Mary), and twin sister of the late Florence Anna Shain. Predeceased by her parents William Edward Hanlon and Sarah Hanlon (Casserly). She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends. Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home (1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham) 905-936-3477 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (91 Church St., Schomberg), on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at 12:30pm. Interment will be held in the spring St. Patrick’s Cemetery Lloydtown. The family wishes to invite you to Nobleton Lakes Golf Club, 125 Nobleton Lakes Dr., Nobleton (on Hwy 27 immediately south of Schomberg.) for light refreshments and fellowship following the funeral mass. Donations in Madeline’s memory may be made to the Arthritis Society or St. Vincent de Paul.
