DOLSON: John (Jack) Prentice
Peacefully passed at Headwater Hospital on Thursday, November 26th, 2015, at the age of 92. Dear father of Diane and Karen, and father-in-law of Pierre and Steve. Cherished grandfather of Aubrie, Devin, Jonathan and Michael, and great-grandfather of Andrew. Fondly remembered by siblings Connie, Helen, Margaret, Boyd, Donald, Cameron, and their spouses. Jack will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and roller-skating buddies.
A memorial service and time of fellowship and refreshment will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 21 Richmond Street, East, Tottenham on Saturday January 16, 2016 with doors open at 1pm and Memorial Service starting at 1:30pm followed by time of fellowship and refreshment until 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial donations to be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society. Donations of pre-loved iPods are also being accepted for Dufferin Oaks’ Music for Memory program.
