Colleen & Family
Our heartfelt condonelnces to every on your sad loss.
“Reflection”
We can shed tears that they are gone,
or we can smile because they have lived,
We can close our eyes and pray that they will come back.
, or we can open our eyes and see all tht they have left.
Our hearts can be empty because we cna’t see them, or we can be full of the love we shared. we can turn our back on tomorrow, or live yesterday, or we can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
We can remember them and only that they are gone, or we can cherish their memory and let it live on. We can cry and close our mind, be empty and turn back, or we can do what they would want: smile, open our eyes, love and go on……
I know life seems very bleak at the moment – but think of all the happy memories you all have given your Dad.
Talk soon. Love Rebekah x

Every Saturday after the 5:00 Mass at St Francis Church he would stand at his post to the right of the walkway and greet us as we scurried down the stairs. Each week he would share a joke, story, or bit of news that would bring a smile to our hearts as we continued on our way. What a fine goodwill ambassador he was!!! He will be sorely missed.

I will always remember Mr. Mullins as being a cheerful friendly man who always stopped to say hello along with a chuckle or two! I loved his Irish accent but more importantly his warm and kind soul. Our community already misses him. God Bless you Flo, Kevin and Colleen, and extended family– our prayers are with you.

Dear Flo, Kevin, Barb, Colleen, Raymond, Jack, Edward and Richard: We have so many wonderful memories of special times spent with Jim. These included family celebrations, school and Parish gatherings, social outings or just a friendly visit. We are so very sad to have lost such a dear friend. Jim had a special way of focusing on the positive and bringing laughter to our conversations. He always asked about the boys and gave advice when it was needed. Our Community has lost a great Christian Ambassador. In his business in both Beeton and Alliston, he was a delight to meet on the street and his good will extended to assisting many people in many ways. He was a gem at family gatherings and Church functions. Yes, he will be greatly missed.

Wit, humor, honor, and prayer. All marked the path of this fellow. I met up with him on brief occasions. I was taken by his wisdom which he shared warmly. Goodness has left us. But he leaves us with peace and depth of character. I will remember Jim. Rest in peace.

Dear Flo, Kevin & Colleen. I was shocked to hear the news today at mass at St. Paul’s church of Jim’s passing. He epitomized the typical teasing, friendly nature of the genteel Irish man.I so enjoyed meeting up with him in Nan’s Restaurant over the years with Scott Macdonald, those two could sure spin a yarn. That’s how I will remember Jim- full of laughs & a heart as big as all get out. He can now indeed enjoy his “summer hours” fully & he & Scott will be able to joke again with one another. He was so proud of his family & mentioned you often Flo. RIP Jim, your family will have many happy memories to remember you by.

With Jim’s death our community has lost one of its biggest hearts. He touched so many lives with his kindness , consideration and great good humour. For those of us who might chance to meet him along the way he simply lit up our day. I don’t think I ever had a chat with Jim without a good laugh as well. He was the link to so many people because he was the one who faithfully kept in touch with such great concern , especially the Irish diaspora around and about. Now he’ll be checking up on those above who have gone before him and heaven must surely be holding a wild Irish ceili to welcome him right now. My deepest condolences to you Flo , Kevin , Barbara , Colleen and Raymond and all of Jim’s extended family agus go mbeannai Dia dhuib.
