Suddenly, at his home, on Friday June 26th, 2020. Jason Matthews, in his 47th year, beloved son of Bob (Gail) and Shirley (Ced) Phillips. Step-brother of David (Janice) Phillips and Doug (Chris) Phillips. Sadly missed by his aunt Barbara Ann Gauley (Allan Nixon) and his cousins Dean and Darryl. Fondly remembered by Shannon Dort. Missed by his fur buddies Chevy and Stan.

Dear Bob. It’s with a heavy heart I read about Jason today. There are no words to express how I feel…by the way, when I saw you last I was suffering from a form of hydrocephalus (NPH) and did not know it. I lost most of my faculties before an MRI revealed “water on the brain” . Thankfully, miracle surgery at St. Mike’s saved my life and now I am better than ever.
