Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Bradford Valley in Bradford in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Kuta. Loving mother of Kristine (Karl) Kowalewski and Richard (Patricia) Kuta. Cherished grandmother of Leslie, Stephanie, Kasia (Mark), Niki, Karoline, Kristofer, and beloved great grandmother of Aniela, Tanner and Andie. Dear sister of the late Bronek Jakubowski. Greatly missed by her four legged companions Angus and Gizmo. Fondly remembered by her friends and extended family.
Babcia always had a plan for each and every day. Whether it was cleaning or organizing her home, working on her latest cross stitch or puzzle and working in her amazing flower and vegetable gardens, where everything grew twice as big as they were suppose too. In the past few months she was still able to enjoy what she loved; walking thru the gardens and admiring the flowers, loving the animals and enjoying time with her family. Showing appreciation when it was our turn to care for her, knowing how hard that was for her! She also had so much love for her great grandkids. Always making them smile. Stocking them up with sugar cookies and sweets every moment she had. We will all miss her dearly but will cherish all the amazing memories she gave us.
A private family service will be taking place. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gertrude’s memory to Ontario SPCA
