Gaetan Joseph Côté ~ March 27, 1961-August 20, 2021
In his 60th year, Gaetan lost a brief battle with lung cancer.
Born in Danville, Quebec, Gaetan is the 7th child in a family of 10 children. His late parents are Clément and Antoinette (Dumas) and predeceaded by his sisters Denise and Nicole. Forever loved by his surviving brothers and sisters; Richard (Liz Mamczur), Suzanne (Andy Tucker), Michael (Chris O’Donnell), Carole (Mike Beauchamp), Sylvin (Sandra Kelly), Bruno & Joanne (Greg Mooney). Sadly missed by his 13 nieces and nephews along with 13 great-nieces and nephews. Gaetan, more commonly known as “Gator”, grew up in Scarborough, Ontario from the age of two. Having attended secondary school, it was during shop class he found his vocation and became a career Interprovincial Certified Licensed Auto Body Repairer. He was known for taking an old ‘clunker’ and turing it into a thing of beauty. #CutlassOldsmobile442.
He was a kindhearted guy that was always there to help when needed and happy to share his knowledge. Always the one you could count on to listen when you needed an ear. His love of animals especially cats and dogs was his true passion.
Sadly he left us too soon for us to give him a last hug. All his siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews along with his friends and all our extended family in Quebec will miss him dearly xo
