It was so good to see you Laurie, outside the hospital last month. What a beautiful conversation we had. It comforts me that Jonathan will have yet another hockey friendly face in heaven.
I know how much you all meant to your father/grandfather and can only guess at how much you loved him. Dying peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, sounds perfect.
We enjoyed our time spent at the arenas with you whole family and wish you nothing but peace and contentment for the future.

Dave was such a gentleman whenever we met at the Manor around Beeton or at church. Anyways had a wonderful comment in a positive light, was proud of his children, grandchildren and devoted to his wife but was also a friend to anyone who needed help in the Village. He had a beautiful smile which always readily lite up his entire face! Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father and grandfather. I will keep Dave and you in my prayers. He was surely looking forward to being reunited with Lolly.

David was all you would want in an uncle- funny, loyal and loving to his wife and family – gracious and inclusive with everyone he met.
He was the youngest of four children. I was five when I went to his wedding with my mother, his sister. Despite the disparity in age were friends because that was what David was like.
I will miss him and try to be a friend like him.

To the entire O’Meara and House family: please accept my condolences and deepest sympathies. Dave was such a loving husband, father, grandpa, and uncle. He was such an integral part of my youth growing up in Montreal and in Hamilton. He taught me about life, faith, and sports. There simply isn’t enough space here to thank him for everything he did for me in my lifetime. His kindness and generosity were exceeded only by his love of family. I will miss him immensely. God bless and rest in peace.
