I worked at Hannah Walker and saw Bob on a regular basis. He was one of the most kind and funniest man I’ve ever met. He was always going to Tim Hortons down the road to bring back the staff and himself coffee. When I first started working there he’d ask me if I wanted a coffee, I thanked him and said I was good. This interaction went on for about a week or two until I’m setting tables for dinner one day and he comes in with a hot chocolate because he found out the reason I was saying no to the offer of coffee was because I didn’t like it. He often sat in the dining room at night while I puttered around getting stuff ready for breakfast the next morning just to keep me company while I worked. Although he wouldn’t even look at me in the Habs jersey after he was telling me they were gonna get clean sweeped, he had a kind heart. My condolences to the family for losing such a special man.
