Cameron: Barry Neil,
Passed away on Thursday May 20, 2021. Barry in his 62nd year, loving husband of Laura Cameron (nee. Ancher). Father of Robert Cameron (Alessia De Fina) and grandfather of Olivia. Dear brother of Ken and Lori, and brother-in-law of Karen Ancher, and Monica Ancher (Matt). Treasured uncle of Tyler, Lilly, and Georgia. Predeceased by his parents Bob Cameron and June Frezell. Survived by his stepfather Joe Frezell. Sadly missed son-in-law of Roseanne and the late Hans Ancher. Remembered by Robert’s mother, Mary Bowers. Forever in the hearts of all his loving animals, his extended family, and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are trusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham. Although we cannot all be together to celebrate his life, it is requested that you share your favourite happy memories of Barry for family and friends to read and reflect on at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com in the condolences section below.
In honour of Barry and his love for his farm, a memorial garden will be created for him. Anyone wishing to contribute a perennial, tree, garden ornament, or even a splitting from their own garden, may drop it off at the farm and it will be included.
Always the first to offer a helping hand, Barry had a giving heart and often cheered people’s day by completing random acts of kindness. Because this brought him so much joy, the family wishes that in lieu of charitable donations, people are asked to pay forward his altruism and commit to perform a random act of kindness for someone. We honour Barry’s memory by sharing his selfless spirit with others, and by doing so feeling the joy he felt in brightening someone’s day.

This message is a year late. I wish I could have been there and regret our paths from drifting so far apart of these last years. My sincere condolences Laura and family. Barry and Laura were like second parents to me for many years growing up. I have the fondest memories from being on the farm with them. Their home provided me comfort during my teenage years trying to figure life out. You always made me laugh. I learned so many valuable life skills taking care of the animals and life on the farm that have a permanent footprint in my life. Some unconventional skills like tree heists that i will forever laugh at. I am grateful for those memories and photos I have together with you Barry. I wish I could have been there better for you. Your memories will live on forever.

So sorry for your loss Laura.
I have some great memories of Barry.
I remember when Paul gave him his Greg Norman… The Shark… hat. I loved that hat. I was so jealous. Paul didn’t know I loved it. Barry said I could have it back but it looked better on him. I’m sure they are having quite the reunion now.
