Peacefully with her family by her side at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Saturday, May 8th, 2010. Stella (Mabee), in her 91st year, beloved wife of the late Elvin Palmer and Walter Archibald. Loving mother of Donna and her husband Doug Reynolds, Linda and her husband Colin Campbell, and John and his wife Susan Palmer. Sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren, Stephen (Tammy) Reynolds, Kathy Reynolds, Malcolm Campbell, Karen Campbell (Lee Boddy), Jennifer and Lisa Palmer and 3 great grandchildren, Tianna Reynolds, Elle, and Jack Boddy. Dear sister of Royce and Ruth Mabee, Clifford and Evelyn Mabee and the late Kenneth Mabee, and sister-in-law of Ailene Mabee. Fondly remembered by the Archibald family; Delphine (late Howard) and Ken and Lois.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Wednesday, May 12th, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held in the chapel, 1:00 pm Thursday, May 13th, 2010 followed by private family interment in Mt. Tegart Cemetery, Tottenham. Donations in Stella’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 48 Alliance Blvd., Unit 207, Barrie, Ontario, L4M 5K3 or the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, 200 Fletcher Cres., Alliston, Ontario, L9R 1W7 would be appreciated by the family.
