Peacefully after a hard fought battle, on Monday Janury 26, 2009 at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie. Sharon (Ascott) in her 62nd year, beloved wife of Jim Thayer and the late Greg LaGrandeur. Loving mother of Lorraine and her daughter Alexandria, and Ronald and his daughter Kasondra. Mother to Jamie, Janet, and Julie. Sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Remembered with love by her mother Irene Ascott. Dear sister of Leslie. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home #1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Saturday January 31, 2009 from 1pm until time of Memorial service in the chapel at 2pm. Donations in Sharon’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
