Peacefully with her family by her side at Matthews House Hospice on July 19, 2017. Sally McGuire in her 69th year. Beloved wife of the late Larry Finley. Loved partner of Mark Newell. Loving mother of Robert (and his wife Rita), David (and his wife Michelle) and the late Joseph (Joey). Remembered with love by her 4 grandchildren William, Laura, Alyssa and Ethan. Dear sister of Sandra (Sandy) McGuire, Barbara (and her husband Ron) Hepburn and the late Graham McGuire. A Memorial “Communion” service will be held in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 508551 Hwy 89, Rosemont on Friday, July 28 2017 at 1:00pm. A Celebration of Sally’s life will be celebrated following at the Gibson Centre, 63 Tupper Street West, Alliston at 2:30pm. Sally continued to use her gifts as a teacher by helping adults improve their literacy skills. She has made a difference in the lives of so many. She will be remembered for her patience, her unflagging optimism and her willingness to do whatever was needed to see one of her students succeed.

Barb and Sandy, I was so very sorry to hear about Sally. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. I was at a bbq she was at a couple of summers ago – we had a lovely visit, catching up and remembering.
