Dear Carol, Nicole, Nathan and families, John and I were heartbroken to hear of Rick’s passing. He helped raise my favourite person (I’m so grateful!), he was very funny, talented in his trade, and he was an awesome dad/Poppa Joe/grandpa. We will miss him, and we are so sorry to all of his loving family & friends. We will make sure all of the wonderful memories of him will live on. Lots of love to you all, today and always. Sam xoxox

Am am so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. I met him many years ago while his business was still on Highway #9 and used his services almost yearly right up until last fall when he finally shut things down. My last words to him before we headed south for the winter were “You had better still be here in the spring when I return”. I was so glad to see that he hopefully had some extra meaningful time with his family. I will miss him and our yearly talks . The quality of work he did was excellent! —- the Smilsky’s – Larry and Carol-Lynne
