
Rhodes: Paul Albert
With loving family by his side, Paul passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at University Hospital in London, Ontario. Paul had a passion for life and a great love of family, friends and his beloved dog, Taco. Paul was a respected and successful businessman. He was a gentle man in every sense of the word. Paul loved the outdoors and played many sports. He loved listening to music and going to the theater. Paul enjoyed travelling with Monika and friends, but also loved being at home, entertaining, practicing yoga and playing bridge and euchre. Having the children, family and friends to the “cottage” was a joy for him. Paul will be missed and loved forever by many. Beloved husband of Monika. Loving father of Ken, Kevin (Carmen) and step-father of Kevin Aarts (Elizabeth). He was the adored grand-father of Ashlee and Nathan Rhodes and Calista, Kayden and Addison Aarts. Loving brother to Anne Scott (Al), Arlene McCullough, Murray Rhodes, Brenda Esson (Greg). Cherished son-in-law of Frida and Joe Kobra and brother-in-law to Peter Kobra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Paul was pre-deceased by his parents, Irene and Hubert Rhodes, brother Bob and sister Sandra Jennett. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home located at 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, Ontario on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00. Words of remembrance will be shared beginning at 2:00.
