Gardiner: Merle Adeline May, (Former resident of Tecumseth Pines Tottenham)
Peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday August 18, 2014. Merle (Gillespie) at the age of 91 years, beloved wife of the late Walter Gardiner. Loving mother of Gayle Young, and Sandra Vincent (Sam). Remembered with love by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her niece Ruth Donnelly (Ben).
A Memorial Service was held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Thurday August 28, 2014 with visiting from 11am until time of Service in the chapel at 11:30am. Donations in Merle’s memory to The War Amps Child Amputee (CHAMPS) Program, 2827 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1V 0C4, would be appreciated by the family.

Mother you are deeply missed. Although Gayle and Sandra chose to erase me from the family out of some twisted jealousy and didn’t include me in the death or funeral of my Mother,I was deeply hurt. They didn’t even notify me of her death. My Mom and I were very close and I miss her terribly. I wish more than anything that I could hug you and kiss you one just more

I only just learned of Merle’s death today. My condolences to all of Merle’s loved ones. She was a good and humorful woman with lots of love.

my thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time I used to take care of Merle I allways looked forward to our visits merle had a British background and she was a corrie fan just like me we had a lot in common merle will be deeply missed by me I lost a very dear friend I will allways remember her rest in peace my dear friend merle
