Dear Dave …I was sorry to read in today’s paper of the passing of you Mom. I have fond memories of her being a kind and gentle soul with a good sense of humor. You and your family are in my thoughts during this diffucult time.
This is a poem I read at my Mother’s funeral last year. I hope it brings you some comfort from time to time as it does me…
We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
We`ll think of you in silence.
We`ll often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake with which we`ll never part.
God has you in His keeping.
We have you in our hearts.
Take care always.
Sincerest regards,
Mary O’Leary
