
Lesley Janet Parsons, 74 of Beeton Ontario passed away on December 27, 2024 after a long and hard fought battle with lung cancer. Lesley was born on July 18, 1950, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Treasured daughter to Harry and Molly Lawrence. Younger sister to Rod and older sister of Cathy Lawrence. Beloved wife to James Parsons whom have been together for 58 years and married for 50 of them.
A graduate of Bloor Collegiate Institute in 1968 and later a graduate of George Brown College in 1970, with a degree in office computer programming. She began her career in 1972 with UCO where she oversaw the day to day duties of managing the office. In 1981, she stepped away from the workplace to give birth to her and James’ only child, a son named Justin. In 1991 she returned to work with the Campbell soup company where she worked in the credit note and damaged product return department, with such success that she quite literally wrote the book on the process that the company still uses today.
Upon retirement in 2014, Lesley and James moved to Beeton where they pursued their hobbies such as world travel, gardening and spending time with loved family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Sunday January 5, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 12:00pm.
