Peacefully on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Headwaters Health Centre, Orangeville. Lawrence Meile in his 86th year, beloved husband of Renate Meile. Loving father of Ursula Gibson and her husband Darryl, and Christian Meile and his wife Angela. Beloved “Opa” to his grandchildren: William, Grayson, Cole, and Payton.
Dear brother of Frederick (Beebee), Edith (Adolf), Peter (Rose), Trudel (the late Erich), Gerhardt (Monika), Walter, the late Bruno (Theresa), and the late Werner.
Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Adelheid (the late Volker). Forever in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday April 13, 2018 from 1pm to 4pm, with a time of spoken remembrances at 2pm, at the Tottenham Legion Hall (25 Richmond St. E. Tottenham). For those who wish, donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre Foundation Orangeville would be appreciated by the family. Wir senden unsere Grüße über den weiten Ozean und gedenken des Onkels der nun weder per Schiff noch Flugzeug für uns mehr erreichbar ist. Wir hatten wenig Kontakt und dennoch war er stets in unserem “Familiengedächtnis”. Manche sprechen hier gerne vom Onkel aus Amerika, wir haben gleich zwei Onkel in Kanada, von denen einer noch lebt, worüber wir uns freuen. Wir möchten alle noch Lebenden daran erinnern was von Jesus Christus überliefert ist (Johannes-Evangelium Kap.3 Verse 16-18): Denn so hat Gott die Welt geliebt, dass er seinen einzigeborenen Sohn gab, damit jeder, der an ihn glaubt, nicht verloren geht, sondern ewiges Leben hat.
Denn Gott hat seinen Sohn nicht in die Welt gesandt, dass er die Welt richte, sondern dass die Welt durch ihn gerettet werde.
Wer an ihn glaubt, wird nicht gerichtet; …
