James Kevin Keogh died peacefully on Tuesday, September 20th in his 76th year. He will be greatly missed by daughter Bridget Keogh-Watson (Brian) and their children Blake, Kerry, and Caitlin; son Michael Keogh (Kathy) and his children Conor and Katy; and daughter Caroline Keogh and her children Monika, Clarice, Nicole, and Kiersten. Born in January, 1940 to Agnes Keogh (Cassin) and Francis Hilary Keogh, Kevin was a dear brother to Ted, and the late Maura, Bill, John (Jack), Catherine (Kitty), Claire, Joe, Helen, Bart, Charles (Mickey), Bobby, and Virginia (Ginny). Formally of Tottenham, Kevin was a professional firefighter with the Brampton Fire Department before retiring to Wasaga Beach. He was an active member of the Legion and Senior groups, with many friends. Kevin had a two year battle with cancer and was able to enjoy the support and care of his family, before staying at the St. Joseph’s Hospice, London Ontario. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the hospice by sponsoring Brian Watson for the October 1st Hike for Hospice http://www.sjhospicelondon.com. It was Kevin’s wish that his son-in-law take part in the memorial run, being so grateful for the care he received. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday Sept. 27th 2016, at St. James Catholic Church, Colgan.

Firefighters never really die, they just burn forever in the hearts of the people whose lives they saved and those they loved.
