
Julia Pollock (née Clatworthy), age 79, passed away on April 10th, 2025, in Bradford, Ontario. Born on November 18th, 1945, in London, Ontario, Julia lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and a deep love for her family and friends.
Julia built a fulfilling career as a Mortgage Specialist with TD Canada Trust and later brought her gracious spirit to her role as a hostess at the Nottawasaga Inn. Her professional life was defined by dedication and a genuine care for those she served.
A woman of faith and musical passion, Julia found joy in singing and was an active member of church choirs throughout her life. She worshipped at St. John’s United Church in Oakville and Trinity United Church in Beeton, where her voice and presence were cherished by many.
Julia’s heart belonged to her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Robin (Richard) and Lindsey (Chris), and her beloved grandchildren Jayden, Riley (Jessica), and Parker. Her devoted partner Gary brought companionship and joy to her later years. Julia was predeceased by her parents Ross and Lillus Clatworthy, her husband Barry Pollock, and her cherished kitty Maddison.
Julia’s generosity touched all who knew her; she was loving, kind, caring, and embraced life with open arms. She will be missed dearly.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, Ontario, L0G1W0. A Memorial Service will commence at 1:00pm with a reception to follow immediately afterward.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. A special thank you to the exceptional staff at the Bradford Valley Care Community.
