I, with so many others, are at a loss for words. John was always one of the first people I’d see everyday walking through the halls at Trailcon. He was always smiling, cracking jokes and laughing… he was a father figure, friend and mentor to so many of us. He always spoke so fondly of his family, and of course his newest grand daughter Sophia when she arrived. John was patient, knowledgeable and willing to help anyone, always. We have a hole in our hearts, and in our Trailcon family with his loss. Iris, to you and your family, all of our thoughts are with you during this time. The world has lost an amazing man. Forever in our hearts and memories.

Please accept my condolences on this tragic phase of life. I humbly offer Iris and the family my thoughts, prayers and well wishes during this difficult time. John was mentored by some strong men and learnt through years of experience, capable of enduring hardships and long hours. The type of men that make you a man. They say, trucking isn’t for the a person who tends to easily experience stress, fear or discomfort of facing challenges. John rose to all the challenges and became responsible for a large group of dedicated mechanics, whom both respected and truly adored him. John, a wonderful man, a great human being, a great soul that has departed us and will be truly missed. The entire Wilson family has been blessed to have John in our lives, so dedicated, caring and it’s our honour to be able to call him our friend. God bless.
