Bruno: Joanne,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne Bruno (Callaghan), on Saturday March 8, 2025 in her 88th year, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Bruno and the loving mother to Shirley Bruno, Donna Healey (Philip) and Len Bruno (Jackie). Joanne adored her grandchildren: Justin, Leanne, Jeff (Elizabeth), Chris (Kim) and great-grandchildren: Nathan, Nicholas, Austin, Aiden and Liam. She will be missed by her sisters Wendy Henderson (Joe) and Susan Tompkins (Glenn). Living on a dairy farm, Joanne loved animals, especially Bailey (her black lab). Joanne was a proud Canadian who always reminded us that we live in the best country in the world. Joanne will be missed by all her family and friends.

Condolences to the Len & all the Bruno family on the loss of your loved one. Joe worked with Don on the farm on the Townline. He had a special friendship with Joanne. Don & Joanne took us to the track & we watched their horse race and visited the stables..a great experience for us. Our granddaughter loved visiting & feeding the horses. We remember Joanne as a kind and caring person.
God bless you,
Karen & Joe Mallany

My sincere condolences to the Bruno family on the loss of Joanne. I met Joanne when she shopped at M & M Food Market in Alliston and we struck up a friendship over our mutual love of labrador retrievers . She was a kind, gentle woman and I always enjoyed our visits when she came in to the store. I hope that wonderful memories help you through this sad time. Sincerely, Lynda Hughson

I am so sorry to read of your loss. Your mom was such a pleasant lady. Even before knowing her at Palgrave UC I first met her at Palgrave PS, and then to know her as your mom, Leonard, and beloved aunt of Jane and Marion, and the brothers too. Wrapping you in God’s loving arms and wishing I could be there with you today.
Big hugs

We offer our condolences to our Aunt Joanne. You will be sadly missed by all. I still remember coming as kids to the farm for a stay, something different from our horse farm to your cattle farm. It was always a good time. We all knew who the boss was. Kim and I loved you and will miss the Christmas cards every year, you carried on from grandma.

It is a sad day when a loved one passes, but when it is a relief from pain, one must step back and be glad that they are now at peace.
Joanne you have been in my life from the day I was born (almost 77 years ago) and I have never met another living soul as, sweet, as kind, as helpful or as loving as you.
Until we meet again, fly with the angels, they will be honoured to have you with them.

We are all saddened by the passing of our Aunt Joanne. She was a valued family member who always supported people in need of help. There are plenty of good memories and times we shared with her at Albion and Adjala. She had a special love for dogs and seemed to encourage their fun and well being. Her devotion to her immediate family is telling, by raising three great children and passing it on to extended family members. Our condolences to Shirley, Donna, Len and Family.
