My condolences on the loss of your beautiful mom. When was a young girl your mom and dad lived beside us. Joan always had a smile on her face but it might have been outright laughter when we tried to sell her some suckers that we caught in the creek! She didn’t fall for it. I would bump into your mom and dad over the years and their faces would light up. They had a joy of seeing all people. May your memories sustain you and give you comfort.

Everyone leaves a mark in this life. Joan left a spark and a smile, wherever and with whomever she touched.
There were so many Saturdays, so many play-off games, so many arenas those boys took us to-Darryl and Dave and Jeff and Keith and Steve and Sean…….a rupture of laughter would always find Joan at the heart of it.
A heavy foot, a sharp tongue, when needed, and the biggest heart in Schomberg, would be how I could most succinctly capture the essence of the best darn neighbour I have ever had at Chestnut Manor. Sorry to see you go Joan but it was sure nice to have had you in my life!
Say hi to Ken for me.
