At Southlake Regional Health Care Centre, Newmarket, on Friday, January 15th, 2010. Jim Haley, in his 91st year, beloved husband of the late Gen (Bergin). Loving father of Mary Frances and her husband Mohamed Shaffee, and Therese and her husband Dean Gardner. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Andrew, Stephanie, Bradley, Scott, and Haley. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Catherine Haley. Dear brother of Wilfrid, Frank and his late wife Noreen, Sister Mary Kathleen SSND, Elizabeth, Catherine and her husband Jim Sheehan, and the late Brother Nicholas CSsR, Patrick, Anthony, Richard, and John.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. James Church, Colgan, 12:30 pm Wednesday, January 20th, 2010, followed by interment in St. James Cemetery, Colgan. Donations in Jim’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

I JUST WANT TO SAY WHAT A GOOD GUY JIM WAS, HE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND A GOOD SINCE OF HUMOR. I REMEMBER ONE TIME HE CAME TO MY RESCUE WHEN I RAN OUT OF GAS, IT WAS NO TIME AND HE HAD ME ON THE ROAD AGAIN.MY FATHER JOHN MCGINTY WAS VERY FOND OF JIM, THEY RODE TOGETHER WHEN THEY WORKED FOR STAR TRANSFER JIM WILL BE MISSED IN THE COMMUNITY.
