Glen (Glendon) Jay Passed away peacefully on Friday August 20, 2010 after a long hard fought struggle with Chronic Leukemia. As per his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Survived by his wife Margaret Anne (MacKinnon), brothers Manning (Kathy), Carman “Tim” (Audrey), Leslie (Gail), and Lynwood (Martha). Glen will be missed but remembered by his many friends, family and his mate of 44 years. His love of Cape Breton Violin music carried him through many difficult times. Smooth fiddling Glen.
Special thanks to Dr. Michael Robson and all the kind hugging nurses at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston. As well, thanks to Dr. Janet MacKinnon and the nurses in the Cancer Clinic at Southlake Hospital, Newmarket. Lastly thanks to all our good friends and family who were there for us during this difficult time.
