Glenda, I’m sorry I don’t feel up to scratch this morning and won’t be able to attend the funeral in Tottenham.
I’ve sent a cheque this morning to the County of Simcoe and they will follow through processing it and will inform your family of my donation in Hugh’s memory, in lieu of flowers.
My sincere condolences to your Mother and the family.

Boomer (read “Long Driver”) was a wonderful Uncle to Bryan and me! During recent years we were very privileged to spend quality time with Hugh on the golf course and in our home in Guelph. There we many memorable feasts of his favorite dishes which included wild turkey and venison prepared lovingly by my wife Sharon. We will miss him greatly but have so many wonderful memories to comfort us!
It was so reassuring and heart-warming to witness the great devotion of daughters Sandra and Glenda and their families to their father during his last days.
