Peacefully with his daughters by his side at Headwaters Health Care Orangeville, on Saturday August 21, 2021. Hans Guse in his 74th year, beloved husband of the late Clara Guse (nee: Manno). Loving father of Michelle (Graeme) Wyatt and Danielle (Michael) Boschetto. Dearly loved Opa of Elizabeth, Cameron, Eric, Brianna, and Jacob. Sadly missed brother of Torsten (Sylvia) Guse, and Barbara (Horst) Koneke. Forever in the hearts of all his extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Visitation will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Thursday August 26, 2021 from 3-5pm. For those who wish, donations to the Alliston and District Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. MY sincere condolences and prayers to the family. I was so very sad to hear about Hans.
Hans was a friend and part of a prestigous group in Tottenham. Better known to me as THE TIM BOYS. Many coffees shared and laughs. The Tim Boys ( Hans was there) even helped me move to Kingston area. Kind, kind person. If there are corvettes in heaven , I am sure Hans is cruising. He loved his corvette. I was truly sorry to hear that Hans had been ill and passed away. He will be fondly remembered and never forgotten.

Hans was a great man and will be missed. I worked with him when I was younger and he taught me a lot of skills in the plumbing trade and definitely set me on the right path for my construction career, for this I will be forever grateful.

Wir sind tief erschüttert über den plötzlichen Tod von Hans.
Er war für uns immer ein lieber Bruder, Schwager und Freund.
Er hatte bis zuletzt seine positive und freundliche Ausstrahlung beibehalten. Auch in unserem letztem gemeinsamen Telefongespräch hat er über seine Krebserkrankung sehr offen gesprochen und war so voller positiver Hoffnung mit der Heilbehandlung beginnen zu können um noch ein paar Jahre zu leben. Leider ist ihm das nicht gegönnt gewesen. Das tut uns so wahnsinnig leid.
Es war immer eine große Freude, über die vielen Jahre, Hans zu besuchen und mit ihm eine schöne gemeinsame, aber leider viel zu kurze Zeit zu verbringen.
Hans hat mit uns viele gemeinsame Fahrten in seiner Wahlheimat in die Umgebung u. a. Niagara Falls, Wasaga Beach, Midlands, Gravenhurst, usw. sowie Fahrten nach Ottawa, Quebec, New York, usw. unternommen und wir hatten immer sehr viel Spaß dabei und auf diesen Fahrten lernten wir auch alle Tim Hortens kennen. Es war Hans immer eine große Freude auch mit uns gemeinsam Essen zu gehen oder mit uns in einem! Hotelzimmer zu übernachten. Auch seine Besuche bei uns in Wolfsburg (Germany), seiner Geburtsstadt, waren wunderschön. Thank you for the good time with you.
Nun hat er seinen Frieden gefunden.
Wir sind sehr, sehr traurig.
Lieber Hans, Du wirst uns so sehr fehlen, aber in unserer Erinnerung wirst Du immer in unserem Herzen ❤ sein.
