Partland, George Walter.
Peacefully at I.O.O.F. Home, Barrie on Monday, April 5th, 2010. George Partland, formerly of Colgan, in his 83rd year, beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Deborah and Paul Allison of Edmonton, G.P. and Carol of Barrie, Chris and Margaret of Indian River, Kelly and Lisa of Schomberg, and Robin and Cassie of Innisfil. Remembered with love by his many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Lynn and John Palmateer of Barrie, Paul and Noreen of Toronto and the late Laura (Gerry) and Stan Gallagher, Bill, Patrick, and John. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Denice Partland of Toronto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. John Vianney Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, Ontario, Friday April 16th at 11:00 am. Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477.

Hi Barb; Sorry to hear about George and you will miss him more than all of us but we will miss him too. You were a great couple and did a lot of good things for this area and all of Canada, as far as that goes. We will be thinking of you and George for many years in the future.
