February 4, 1969 – January 25, 2020
Suddenly at his home in Alliston on Saturday, January 25, 2020. David Rutten at the age of 50 years, beloved husband of Sue Atkinson (nee: Ford). Loving father of B, and step-father to Barbara Ann (Sarah), Kyla (Anthony), Crystal (Jeff), Allan, and the late Steven. Doting grandfather to Eleanor, Aubry, and Jaelynn. Dear brother of Louwie (Denise), Wilma (Peter), Jenny (Jim), Joseph (Sherri), John Jr., Frank (Margot), Trudie (Martin), and Leo (Barbara). Predeceased by his parents Gertruda and Johannus Rutten. Missed by Sue’s parents Kathy and Jerry Ford, brother-in-law Bill (Heather), and remembered with love by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham – 905-936-3477 on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. James Church, Colgan on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:30am. 26 januari kregen wij van Frank het droevige nieuws dat David plotseling was overleden.
Wij schrokken hier heel erg van.
Afgelopen jaar in augustus was David samen met B nog bij ons in Nederland waar we gezellig samen waren en veel gelachen hadden. Nu voor ons een dierbaar moment.
Wij wensen jullie heel veel kracht, sterkte en warmte toe
