“Toos” Catharina Maria Vonk, neé Groenewegen
Peacefully on Sunday January 3, 2021 at her home in Haliburton, formerly of the Holland Marsh and Schomberg, with family by her side in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Hans Vonk. Loving mother of the late Jim (Susan), Jeanette (Jim) Angus, Mary Anne (Garry) Swagerman, Don (Wendy), Dave (Brenda), and John (Laurie). Cherished Oma of 16 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
Toos will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in the Netherlands and in Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home in Tottenham.
Interment and private family service will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Schomberg in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Condolences for the family may be left at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.

Tante Catherine was een fantastische vrouw, zij kon goed luisteren en ik heb haar nooit kritiek over iemand uit horen spreken. De laatste jaren waren zwaar, zeker na het overlijden van oom Hans. Van haar kinderen heeft ze erg veel steun en hulp gekregen.
Zelf heb ik haar alleen in goede doen meegemaakt en daar ben ik blij om.
Ik zou haar nog wel duizend keer willen bedanken voor wat zij en oom Hans voor mij gedaan hebben.
