Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston, on Monday March 11, 2019. Carolyn McCabe in her 77th year, beloved wife of the late James McCabe. Loving mother of Chari O’Leary (Fred), Michael McCabe (Kelly), and Gary McCabe (Patricia). Dearly loved grandmother of Jamie (Melissa), Errol (Pamela), Amanda, Ashley, Byron (Lindsay), Orry (Erin), Shawn (Becca), Bobby (Tamara), Catlin (Monica), and great grandmother of Owen, Addison, Flynn, Paisley, Isabella, Ashley, Brayden, Zachary, Mya, Karrigan, Jessie, Faith, Myles, and Quintin. Sadly missed by all her furry friends. Forever in the hearts of all her extended family and friends.
The Family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477, on Friday March 15, 2019 from 10:30am until 12:30pm. Followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church Colgan at 1pm. For those who wish donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

In 1974 Carol came into our lives at the Tottenham IGA. She was a unique person who touched everyone she met. We grew a bond in that room that sit coms and romance novels are written about. We had an incredible 20 plus year run together in our diverse family. We always used to say that if we met each other and we didn’t say something we’d know the other one was dead.
