Kathy, my sincerest condolences for you and your family, my heart goes out to you at this difficult time. I knew Calvin through the stories you shared with me car pooling to work. I will remember him for the delicious blueberry muffins he use to bake, his beautiful kind eyes and as a wonderful husband and father. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow.

I have tears in my eyes as I write this Kathy, Michelle and the rest of Calvins Pride and Joy(family). Whether it was talks about old cars, Maple Leafs ,Woodbridge, Kids/Grand children, Scorpion Woman we married. You always made going into work a truly one of a kind experience. How you could put up with Baby Sitting grown working adults for so many years should of set a Guiness World Record for Patience. It was a pleasure getting you your Tim Hortons Double Double coffee. Then I would try to notice your facial expressions after a meeting that would often require a 2nd Double Double. The wood recycling was a good project. Oh Oh but not as good as the Black Market Trading we did at Christmas. The Muffaletta and Eucalyptus Candies for the Greatest Butter Tarts in the World. Oh sorry it must of been mine and Kathys Trade. Because my Scorpion didn’t get any Butter Tarts and you didn’t like my side of the Goods. The Butter Tarts should be a stop on Onts Butter Tart Trail.
As a wing man fighting for Employment Equity, thanks for what you taught me and that battle will continue in your Memory. Its a secret but i just filed to start a Labour Political Party. COOL. Could not of done it with out you and the labour battles we/you fought over the years.
You can be my Wingman now and if I go a stray in continuing your work to strengthen the Labor Movement send me a sign. Oh god I forgot about girls Horse Barrel racing at the Fair. New Zealands Woman Football Haka Chant. Dodges Family Motto Hellcat commerical
RIP Calvy.

Calvin would be remembered as a pillar in CEVA Logistics (Brampton). During his tenure as Union Chairman he established stability through his leadership and facilitated a more harmonious relationship in between management and the union members. He also shared his craft and carpentry skills for the benefit of the employees. His demise will leave a huge void which will be hard to fill. My prayers and thoughts of peace I offer to his family and friends, for a gentleman like him would be hard to come by and would surely be missed.

Dear Kathy and the entire Peters family
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of Calvin.
There is absolutely no doubt that Calvin’s greatest treasure was his family.
That was never more evident than at family gatherings. There sat Calvin with the biggest grin on his face, bursting with pride. And proud he should be with such a loving group of people we call “The Peters”. We are absolutely positive this kind of love for one another will be passed on for generations to follow.
Much love,
Lorraine and Bob
