Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston on July 24, 2022. Eileen de la Bastide (nee: Assing) in her 91st year, beloved wife of the late Peter de la Bastide. Loving mother of Steve (Sarah), and Marc (Marie). Dearly loved grandmother of Theodore, Vianne, Patrick, Seamus, and Owen. Sadly missed by her sister Rosemarie Assing, and predeceased by her siblings Gloria Doglio. Albert Assing, Paula Minear, Eula Lee, Nell Lerch, and Brian Assing. Forever in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Thursday July 28, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 29, 2022 at 3:30pm at St. James Church Colgan. Interment to follow in St. James Cemetery.
