Peacefully at Roberta Place Long Term Care, Barrie on Sunday April 10, 2022. June Carrick (nee: Ashley) in her 88th year, beloved wife of the late Charles Carrick. Loving mother to Susan, the late Wayne, the late Kathy (William), Stuart (Janette), Dan (Joanne), Dale (Jolene) and Christine (Marc). Cherished Nanny to Joshua (Jennifer), Natasha (Adam), Jacob, Mark (Megan), Kevin, Stacey (Yasser), Heather, Stefanie, Adam, Kyle and Courtney. Great Grandmother to Brody, Kohl, Avery, Ashton, Avery, Adleigh, Brynlee, Ivy and Joseph. Dear sister to Shirley Pike and the late William Ashley. Forever in the hearts of her extended family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham. Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in June’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.

We were always welcome at the Carrick home. As memory serves me, your Mom was usually the stricter parent….she would look kinda cross while giving her opinion….then would often have her little smile afterwards as she walked away. She did an amazing job raising the Carrick kids ❤ She is now with your Dad (Kathy and Wayne too)….a lovely reunion after so many years.
There is getting to be a big group of former Mill Street East residents in heaven….I can only imagine the gathering ❣
