KERNOHAN, Anne Shirley (nee Banner)
March 4, 1935 – September 17, 2021
On Friday, September 17, 2021, Anne was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Glen on their 66th wedding anniversary. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a kind, gentle, friendly lady – small in stature but strong in spirit, unwavering in her loyalty and love for others, steadfast in her faith. She passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Nursing Home at the age of 86, surrounded with love and with family by her side. Devoted mother to Mary Anne, Jim, William and Violeta. Cherished grandmother to Macgregor, Glen, Pamela, Camilla, Vanessa and Chase. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and their children. Dear to her wonderful neighbours and cherished by her closest friends – old and new. Anne was pre-deceased by her husband Glen, parents Frank and Annie, and siblings Mary, Loreen, Frank and Merna. For those who wish, donations to Alliston & District Humane Society, Parkinson Canada or Tottenham United Church would be sincerely appreciated.
In accordance with Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. My love and deepest condolences to my cousins, Jim, Mary Anne, William and Tia and your families. Your mom’s beautiful, loving soul was our joy to have with us for a while. Aunt Anne’s love will always remain alive in the lessons she taught, the patience she gave and in the hearts of the lives she touched. Although we may not get together so much anymore, you are always loved and remembered. May God’s love provide subtenance and comfort in your sorrow.
Love Karen

Jimmy, Mary Anne and Billy – we’re sorry for the loss of your mom. She was always patient and kind with a smile and a laugh. Brings back great memories of all of us spending time at the Farm with Grandma and Grandpa with your mom and my mom trying to handle us wild kids and keeping us out of trouble (sometimes with success!). We’ll miss her very much.
Love to all – Brian, Susy and Jacklyn.
