Anderson: Margaret Edith
Born April 15, 1926. Peacefully passed to the Lord, in the loving arms of her daughter, Arlene at Southlake Palliative Care Unit. Beloved wife of the late John. Much loved and cherished mother of Douglas (Caroline) and marvellous Grandma of Johnathon (Aleks) and Iain. Best friend of her wonderful pets, Peanut, Mickey and Minnie. A true giver, she would help anyone and volunteered at her church, the local school, C.H.A.T.S and drew people into her circle of friends. “Auntie Marg” will be sadly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews for whom she was a rock. The family wishes to extend their many thanks and gratitude to Saint Elizabeth Health Care , We Care, The Palliative Care Unit and the Cancer Centre at Southlake Hospital for their support. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Cindy So for her kindness and thoughtfullness. A private funeral was held for Margaret at St. Mary Magdalene Church. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 1-3 pm at The Manor at Carrying Place Golf Club, 16750 Weston Road (905-939-2800). In lieu of flowers a donation, if desired, can be made to Southlake Hospital Foundation, Newmarket.
