McGuire: Mary Geraldine “Gerry”,
Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre Newmarket, on March 28, 2021. Gerry McGuire (nee: Doherty) of Schomberg, in her 89th year, sadly missed by Paul McGuire, loving husband for almost 66 years. Loving mother of Teresa (Fred Todd), Keith (Judy), Lynda (Steve Cridland), Jim (Nancy), Sharon (Keith Sheardown), Lorraine (Mike Meher), Shawn (Lana), and Chris (Lisa). Dearly remembered by her 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Forever in the hearts of her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd. Tottenham on Thursday April 1, 2021. Visitation times will be set by Reserved Groups of 40 attendees per session. Visitation session times are: 5:00-5:30pm, 5:45-6:15pm, 6:30-7:00pm, (with 15 minutes intervals of cleaning/sanitization). All Attendees must reserve a time by clicking here or by calling the Funeral Home at 905-936-3477 to reserve their visitation time during one of those set periods. Following pandemic protocols all attendees must wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth, respect social distancing requirements, and should only attend if they do not have a fever, cough, or any Covid symptoms.
An invitational Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Church Schomberg. Followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

No words we can offer will make your hurt go away. We know this firsthand as Janet’s father passed away last week. Gerry was quite a lady with a host of talents.
