Daniels, Marjorie (Marj) Irene It is with heavy hearts we announce Marj’s passing in her 66th year, on September 10, 2019, after a short illness. Marj was the cherished wife of Paul Daniels and the proud mother of Shannon Thiessen (Brian) and Cheryl Galezowski (Richard). Her grandchildren Richie, Jackson, Nora and Alex were the joy of her life. The 3M’s, Marie Loewen (Robert), Marion Mills Maier (Norm) and Marlene Parr will miss the 4th M of the “Quinn girls” as will her brother John, her sisters-in-law Suzanne Fisher and Margaret Mason. She will be sadly missed by her many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Jack and Dorothy Quinn, and brothers-in-law Don Mills, Reid Parr and Bob Mason. Marj was known for her deep faith in God, her generous heart and warm smile. She was a respected member of the community who showed great integrity in her work as a real estate agent and always went the extra mile to meet the needs of others. Her home was truly open to anyone needing a warm cup of tea, food or a place to rest. We are comforted to know that she is now resting in her heavenly home where no doubt she is sharing stories of her grandchildren.The family will welcome Marj’s many friends and clients for visitation at the Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham on Sunday, September 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 374 Salem Road, Barrie on Monday, September 16 at 1:30 pm. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to Matthews House Hospice and would welcome gifts to the Hospice in honour of Marj’s life.

Marj came into our lives over 17 years ago to help Jesse. She stayed and helped all of us! I always told her she was my guardian angel. She was an amazing friend and we will all cherish the time we spent with her. We will miss her greatly!
