50 years of shared memories flash by: Playing hockey, baseball and working together.
Jeff introduced me to Colleen, (of which I have forgiven him for) and later, was my Best Man at our wedding,
In all the years of knowing Jeff, I never saw him get angry. His ability to make everything a positive was amazing.

It is hard to believe that this has happened….
Surreal.
Over the years Jeff’s generosity and help was special to me. He gave me a variety of beautiful trees from his tree farm for our new property. He arranged for us to get industrial shelving when we needed it. He assisted me in a number of ways after I had a stroke. He was like a brother in many ways. Life won’t be the same without you Jeff, but know you left a powerful, positive legacy. Ed

Tim & I were so sad to hear that Jeff has passed away. We always enjoyed his company at our family gatherings.
My first memory of Jeff was after Yvonne & Ken’s wedding. I was invited to go to Toronto with Ed & Kay for a few days. Jeff was kind enough to take me to the CNE with his friends during that visit. It was a big deal to this small town girl back then.
Hugs to all,
Marilyn & Tim

Ted and Jane Fullerton says
Jeff was one of those individuals who had the ability to think, act and conduct himself with acquired knowledge; experience, understanding, common sense and insight….we refer to these attributes as wisdom. He possessed the quality of being kind and generous and also funny, playful and jocular. His tenderness, caring and warmth are indelible aspects of his personality and his devotion, love and affection to Heather, Chad, Ashley, Chelsea, Mark, extended family and friends where felt at the core of his being. Jeff Burford, this exceptional, genuine and outstanding person will be deeply and sorrowfully missed.
Within the poem, The Clod and the Pebble by the artist and poet William Blake the first stanza expresses unselfish love, a quality that defines Jeff’s persona and how he conducted his life with others. It infers how knowing him has made our lives that much better and richer.
Love seeketh not itself to please
Nor for itself hath a care
But for another gives its ease
And builds a heaven in hells despair.
Nicolee Miller says

Skip MacLean says
So shocked and saddened to hear the news. Jeff and I spent a lot of time together as kids growing up in Weston. We drove my ford pinto out to the West coast for a holiday to remember, and spent many many hours road tripping and learning about life. One of my big regrets is that we fell out of contact and only saw each other rarely. Nancy and I can only imagine the hole left by his passing. All our heartfelt condolences to Heather, Chad and Chelsea.
