Cathy Anne Corkum
Passed away suddenly on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie. Beloved daughter of Laura Campbell and Sonny (Brenda) Corkum. Loving sister of Paula (Diane), Gary, Michael (Donna), “Tudder” Tara (Bill) and Lana a special sister from another mister. Step sister to Chad and Denise (Clinton). Cherished aunt of Joey, Dylan, Kayle, Jamie, Hannah (Jess), Becca, Morgan, William, Ryan, Lily, Claire, Adam, Sophie, Claire, Haley, Layne and great aunt to Bowen, Lilly and Mateo. Sadly missed by her four legged companion Simon. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, (1666 Tottenham Rd.) Tottenham on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 10:30am until time of Funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon. Cathy, Was for me a true honest good kind soul. Unflappable, straight forward and present. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Cathy worked with me for a while and we would cross paths at the Legion often in the years that followed, always a smile, always “no problem let me do that”.
