To the family
I was sorry to read of your loss. Death is difficult to endure regardless of our age, however we can find comfort from God’s word the Bible. It tells us that soon all those in the memorial tomb will come out by means of a resurrection.(John 5:28, 29). Until then, may you continue to keep Mr. Hans’s memory warm in your hearts until you see him happy and healthy again one day
Paes Family says
At this time, as we recognize the passing of our beloved Oom Hans, our thoughts are of him and with you Tante Toos, as well as the entire family. While it is a time to celebrate the wonderful person that he was, it is also a time that we realize how much he will be missed.
We have many fond memories of Oom Hans including his wonderful sense of humor, the challenging questions, discussions he enjoyed having with all of us whenever we were together and his acceptance of all.
We had hoped until the last moment that we would be in a position to attend the visitation and the service and to share our thoughts and feelings with all of you. While we cannot be there at this time, our thoughts and prayers are.
We have provided a donation, in the name of Oom Hans, to the Lung Association in order to assist others with breathing difficulty, as we know he would have wished and appreciated.
Love
Heather, Rick, Jason, Andrea, Matthew and Karine

To all the members of the Vonk family and the extended family I wish to express my deepest condolences to u all at this trying time…
I had the pleasure of sitting with Mr.Vonk on several family occasions at John and my sister Laurie’s over the years and it was truly a pleasure being in his presence. Mr Vonk had a quiet confidence that demanded attention even when he wasn’t speaking and a infectious smile that seemed to lure u in in wanting more…
A GREAT MAN WAS AMONG US
