Peacefully at Roberta Place LTC, Barrie. On January 4, 2018 surrounded by her family, having just celebrated her 90th Birthday. Loving Mother of Ken Loney, Brian Loney (Dorothy). Predeceased by her parents John and Ella Andres, spouses Lorne Loney 1972 and Ken Holmes 2000, sister Alice and brothers Edward and Benjamin. Cherished sister of Harold (Beryl), Elwin (Phylis), Martha, Donald (Debbie), Linda (Gary), Helen (Claude) and Evelyn (Ian). Loving Grandmother of Kathy, Steven, Deirdre, Michelle (Scott), Clay (Sonja), Ryan (Barbara Ann), Alan (Amanda), Paula (David ), Beauty (Ed), Curtis (Tammy). Great Grandmother of 18. Esther was a respected member of Heritage Baptist Church, Barrie. Donations in Esther’s memory may be made to the church. She had a great love for her pets. Her gardens on the Trent River were on the horticultural garden tour. A very special thanks to her extended family at Roberta Place Long Term Care who cared for her as if she were their own Mother. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life to be held on Saturday January 20, 2018. Visitation at 1pm followed by the service at 2pm.
