
Brown, John Warren “Jack”.
Passed away peacefully with his children by his side at Simcoe Manor, Long Term Care, Beeton, on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017. Jack, in his 86th year, is survived by his spouse, Elke Gobien and his children Warren, Jeff (Heather), Sam (Debra), Peter, Rob (Katherine), Julie (Dan), Jim (Ann), Lori (Bill), Elke’s children, Susan (Dennis), Alan (Susan), and Kim. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Melissa (Aaron), Stephen, Jeremy, Adam, Kyle, Hannah, Jaimie-Lee, Amanda, Cecilia, Thomas, Kelsey, Megan and his great-grandchildren, Hudson and Annalee. Jack was born in Tamworth, Ontario to the late Hugh and Laurie Brown and raised in Lennoxville, Quebec. He had a tremendous sense of humour, a love of sports, the horses and reading, but, he was happiest on the golf course.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at the Tecumseth Pines Recreation Centre, Tecumseth Pines Drive and Varga Court, Tottenham, on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Donations in Jack’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 112 Commerce Park Dr., Unit 1, Barrie, ON., L4N 8W8.
