Peacefully with his loving family by his side at Matthews House Hospice Alliston, on Saturday November 18, 2017. Eddy Surbek at the age of 79 years, beloved husband of Ann Surbek (Markovic-Durin). Loving father of Dennis and Michele, Richard and Jacquie, Sonya, and Deanna. Dear grandfather of Kirstin, Alyson, Ava, and Noah. Sadly missed by his siblings: Josip (Ilka), Pina Greguric (the late Milan), and predeceased by Marija Papov (the late Josip), Ivan (Pina), and Stanko (Angela). Forever in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Tuesday November 21, 2017 from 5-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (190 King St. S. Alliston, ON) on Wednesday November 22, 2017 at 10:30am. Interment in Riverside Cemetery Etobicoke. In lieu of flowers, donations to Simcoe Manor Beeton, Matthew’s House Hospice Alliston, or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
