Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston on Friday March 31, 2017. Marjorie (nee: Simms) in her 99th year, loving mother of Marilyn (nee: Menton) and her husband John Kamstra, Bob Menton, and the late Sandra Menton. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Menton, the late Russ Switzer, and survived by her husband Harvey Free. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Kathy (Laurie Lloyd), Kelly (Greg Collins), Sandra, Julie (Simon Law), Johnny, and her great grandchildren: Joe Lloyd, Lily, Christopher and Sophie Law, Isabel and Patrick McKenna, and Carman Kamstra. Dear sister of Eileen, Bill (the late Ada), and the late Lillian (Jack), Dorothy, and George (Phyllis). Forever in the hearts of her step-daughter Carolynn Miller (Don), extended family, and friends. A special thank-you to the staff at Good Samaritan Retirement Home for all their care and love.

Marilyn & Bob and all Marjorie family , it has been a great pleasure to help to care for your mom and all the wonderful title she had . It was for a short time but for sure had a special place in my heart and always will especially seeing her beautiful smile first thing in the morning i miss her and bless her heart the very sweet and kind lady she will be remember for sure .RIP Mrs Majorie.May your family find peace and be bless in this hard time to of sorrow and great loss

Since meeting “Nana” 20 years ago when
our Son married her Grandaughter Julie I feel we became friends. I am so pleased she came to England to enjoy their wedding. She has led a very full life and I am so pleased I saw her last October when she looked radient. She has left a lasting legacy with a wonderful family who will miss her greatly.
