Suddenly at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on Saturday, October 27th, 2007. Roy MacDowall, in his 54th year, beloved husband and best friend of Marlene (Amory). Loving father of Jason MacDowall and Tina Leblanc, Melaney MacDowall and Jeff Mueller, and Corey MacDowall. Sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren Jessica, Shelby, Madison, and Autumn. Dear brother of Brian, Glenn and his wife Penny, the late Carl and brother-in-law of Diane. Pre-deceased by his parents Alec and Phyllis MacDowall. Fondly remembered by his father and mother-in-law Al and Joanne Amory, Marlene’s grandparents, Myrtle and Bill Newton, and his brothers and sisters-in-law Gail and Mike Knecht, Jean and Don McBride, Joan Amory and his many nieces and nephews. Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Road, Tottenham, 905-936-3477 on Tuesday, October 30th, 2007 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held, in the chapel 11:00 am Wednesday, October 31st, 2007 followed by interment in Trinity Cemetery, Beeton. Donations in Roy’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family
